Life appeared because it was wanted! It was wanted by what preceded it and is the ultimate result of the Law of Change.
All change in life has come about because it was wanted by life, and life will proceed to change in the way wanted by life.
Life is able to change itself by no more than wanting it, although the change wanted may not be an optimum one, but the wanting must be of the right kind.
Life unconsciously wants in the right way, hence the appearance of consciousness, but conscious wanting is confused by its very consciousness.
Every living thing can have what it individually wants so long as it is wanted in the right way, and is in accordance with the possibilities allowed for by creation.
